Masjid Al Khazra
The Green Academy Trust has taken a vital and unique step to open Darul Uloom for the young boys and elderly men and women of Nottinghamshire and its surrounding counties. The force behind taking the above step is the high demand and desire of the local Muslim Community. The building was purchased in 2011 for £200,000 through Qarze Hassana from the Muslim community of Nottingham. The Mosque Alhmdolilah has been opened for the community after necessary refurbishment of the praying hall. But, its long way to complete the entire project.
The main goal of the Darul Uloom is to flourish and expand its occupancy and provide valuable quality religious education besides the National Curriculum in the local area at competitive prices. The Darul Uloom will provide good role model Muslim Scholars to cater the needs of the Muslim children in their spiritual, emotional and physical development. The Darul Uloom will provide resources for children to encourage and adapt Islamic morals and Islamic way of life.
The Masjid Al Khazra is a place where the Muslim community will gather five time a day to offer their prayers. Also, the community will get benefit of the modern Islamic Library for enhancing their knowledge. Masjid Al Khazra will also provide facilities like complete funeral arrangements which include Ambulance for the dead body, Ghusal area, Janaza and burying arrangements.
